Brenda's On the Causeway in Dunedin

Whenever we're visiting Florida, Dunedin to be exact,enjoy eating breakfast at Brenda's. Reminds me of old Florida.

Wonderful breakfast place, great food, service and fair prices. We like sitting at the counter and watching Brenda cook, she is amazing and we can’t wait to be able to dine in as we were going there at least once a week.

They have the best breakfast.

Great breakfast selection, I wanted to eat light and they offered a spinach omelet that was simple but delicious! Probably goin back for seconds. The coffee was hot, the other breakfasts were big and hearty. I didn’t even make it to the lunch section of the menu. This place is great and the service is lovely.

This place is a must if you are traveling or staying in the area. The food was amazing and so fresh and tasty. We will be back for sure and love this place. Stop by when traveling to Honeymoon island for sure.

Blueberry Pancakes OMG. Brenda cooks in front of you and you get to see it all prepared . Cheap prices, open till 230pm except Mondays. I'm a regular now and can recommend to others.

TRASH. Took and hour to serve food, ordered before anyone else and got our food last, waitress gave us attitude when we asked when we’re getting our food. Only thing good about this place is the guy running around serving people coffee.

Brenda's is a classic greasy spoon diner. The menu is exactly what you would expect. The food was also pretty standard. Nothing outstanding. Just fine. The service was friendly and attentive.

4.5 Stars - No frills diner, fast, friendly service. I went right after lunchtime and was in and out in about 30 minutes. This will be one of my go-to lunch spots. Fair prices for what you get. Thanks Brenda!

Where the Locals eat! Just like Grandma’s...If you are looking for fast pace & quick service, this may not be the place for you. If you are looking for local flavor, home cooking, peaceful easy vibes... then try this place!! Delicious food, mouth savoring, taste buds delight. Food cooked openly in front of you per order by one hard working lady. Cheap! Full plates @ a very reasonable price. Parking on site.

Located on the beautiful Dunedin Causeway is Dunedins little secret. Wonderful, friendly staff. Brenda is a great cook. Can't help but like her. Food is great. Prices are great. Diner like atmosphere. Give it a try. You'll become a regular in no time.

Very nice place for lunch or breakfast. My pancakes are bigger than the plate! Eggs cooked to perfection. Friend had a Sloppy Joe and potato salad. Excellent service. Very reasonable prices.

What an amazing little Breakfast and Lunch Cafe. Food was fantastic and Brenda herself prepared it all right in front of me. The sliced tomatoes were saucer sized, fresh, ripe like from your garden and sausage was firm and spiced just right, no fast food rubber sausage patties here. Literally each order is made one at a time fresh here. Such a jewel of a find. I will back to try out lunch again soon. Can't wait!

Delicious comfort food!

I've lived right down the street basically from Brenda's for years and years. A friend of mine moved here from up north and he decided to try it. He loved it! So I joined him the next day. The food is excellent! The service wonderful! The restaurant is cozy and clean. All of this and the prices are great. The servings are generous. The outside surprises you which is why I never went in in the first place. But to me this is a hidden gem. The owner Brenda is delightful. The servers could not be nicer. It's like one big happy family in there. Everyone seems to know everyone else. I love going out for breakfast but the prices for breakfast have gotten so out of hand, it's almost like you're going out for dinner. So this is my new place for breakfast from now on and I'm not changing it. I can't stop telling friends and neighbors about it. Just give it a try and I promise you won't be disappointed and you'll continue to go back.
